Revis Island Closed for the Season, Might as well Pack it up

Well folks, Adele has sung that fateful song, Yogi Berra says its over, the Jets season is dead and buried. Darrelle Revis, obviously the best cornerback in the NFL and the most integral part of the Jets D, is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL. This is actually the biggest buzzkill in a while from the Jets front. Despite being horrendous for 2 of the first 3 games this year, they sit perched atop the AFC East with two divisional wins, and the Pats have lost two in a row which is just as sweet. But that little optimism is dead and gone, and I doubt we'll get to 8-8, and from here on will be extremely painful to watch. Only consolation at this point would be if they ship Tebow to Russia or some sad country like that to wreck his spirit. Maybe Ukraine, talk about a dreary place, no smiles in Ukraine. I can hope that the defense will come together in DR's absence, but we saw how that went in Pittsburgh Week 2. Gonna be a brutal 14 weeks coming up.

PS. I'm legitimately scared we'll lose by 45 next week. Randy Moss may not play a lot of snaps but he ruins the Jets, maybe 2 TD's and 175 on like 5 catches. And the Niners D, what a scary group of individuals, I'm pretty sure Pat Willis has killed people and NaVorro Bowman is his twin who definitely has killed people. Could get ugly.
