Classic Redskins

During pre-game warmups today, two Redskins players decided to horse around instead of actually preparing to play. Safety Brandon Meriweather and wide receiver Aldrick Robinson collided resulting in Meriweather hurting his knee and Robinson receiving a head injury.

Meriweather, who has not played in a game this season due to a prior knee injury, was seen limping to the locker room after the collision and Robinson was down on the turf for a while according to the Washington Post.

In all honesty, this is one of the dumber things I've seen in all of sports. Why is a safety running routes, and why is Robinson stretching in a daze on the goal line? Take that to the sidelines. Imagine trying to explain this situation to head coach Mike Shanahan. Hilarious. Oh and by the way, both guys were declared inactive for the game, and didn't play.

One Last Thing: This is the most obscure pre-game injury since former Yankee outfielder Juan Rivera crashed into a golf cart and broke his kneecap.
