Biggest Hit I Have Ever Seen

Denver Broncos linebacker Joe Mays was suspended 1 game and fine $50,000 today for a hit that he made on Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub on Sunday. That may seem like a lot, but I don't even know if that is enough of a punishment.

I was watching this live with my roommate and both of us went absolutely bananas over this. Schaub has no idea that Mays is coming. Mays' teammate linebacker Von Miller, is basically holding Schaub up on a tee for Mays, and then, boom goes the dynamite.

Schaub was quoted after the game saying that he lost part of his ear because of that hit, and even though he did return after one play, Mays should have to like name his first born son Matt after that. Either that or Schaub should be allowed to cut off a part of Mays' ear, you know some Hammurabi's Code justice. "Eye for an Eye, Ear for an Ear."

One Last Thing: I've been watching football for quite some time now, and the only hit that I can think of that was as bad as that one, was the hit the late Sean Taylor made on Bills punter Brian Moorman (who was cut today) in the Pro Bowl a few years back.

Sorry for the crappy quality, it's all YouTube had
