For Sanchez's first two years at the helm, that was the recipe. Run the ball 40 times and throw short intermediate balls that Sanchez is actually really good at throwing. Everything seemed to work yesterday, the defense was stout and I think Cromartie is starting to realize he's the man now and he's playing great football. Shonn Greene finally woke up and looked like a tank out there for a buck 60 and 3 td's (fantasy note: CB32 had Shonn on his bench, 34 points. Can't knock it too much, guy had a total of 10 points in the first 5 weeks or something terrible).
Anyways, Sanchez only threw it 19 times and completed over 50 percent, and didn't turn it over. He also threw two nice TD's so it was a pretty flawless game in that sense. I really liked the game plan, and as much as it pains me to say it, like the most excruciating admission of all time, Tebow was almost effective. Ah I'm dead, the fake punt dynamic is pretty sick and he's a good short yardage back, just not a quarterback by any stretch.
Next week is the ultimate test, the Pats in Foxborough. I'll be here in Worcester having to listen to these clown Pats fans, "ahhh, Brady is a gawd, he's wicked good. Welka is a great receivah and Belichick is the greatest coach who ever was ever."
As of right now, the Jets are a top of the Division because of 2 divisional wins and the Pats having dropped 3 games they really shouldn't have. I'll take that with a chance to get a full game ahead if we come out and do what we did against the Colts. I want to be able to gloat to all these Massholes, but knowing the Jets, I'll probably be getting the business for weeks after a blow out, but we can hope.
Ps. I still hate Tebow. Andy Luck is dumb as paint,"the footballs are engineered for spirals" shut up, Einstein. Close your mouth when you breathe.
