Well that game was interesting. 41-14. I didn't think it was
going to be that bad, honestly. Herbstreit and Musburger fell in love with Nick Saban, Denard looked like he didn’t improve one bit,
the o-line got handled and the defense couldn’t get a break as nearly every
drive started at the 50 yard line. To make things worse, the best corner on the
team, Blake Countess, tore his ACL and is out for the year. I’m not going to
lie, it’s not looking good for the Wolverines. Good thing is, they have two cupcakes coming up in Air Force and Massachusetts. However, the
remainder of the schedule is still very concerning. They have to play on
the road against Notre Dame, Nebraska, and Ohio State and have a home matchup
with the Michigan State Le’Veon Bells. The only positive thing that came out of
that manhandling was the emergence of WR Jeremy Gallon. He had 4 catches for
107 yards and was the only receiver that could separate from the Bama
secondary. He’s going to be the guy this year for Denard. Hopefully next week,
RB Fitzgerald Touissant will allow the running game to flourish. If he doesn't,
the Air Force defense will. Now, every week I will end with a prediction for
the next game, so here’s my prediction for the Air Force game.
Michigan 38- Air Force 14
